Easiest Chicken Lasagne

For those who want more recipes...this is the cheats best ever Lasagne and it only takes about 10mins to get everything together and about 20 -30 mins to Cook ..ready for those guest who think you have been slaving over the stove for hours... a fresh green salad with olives and sun dried tomatoes and some herb or garlic bread and Hey Presto!!!!..dinner is ready to serve..
Follow the easy to see and read and DO steps and enjoy

1 BBQ chicken stripped of all the skin and de-boned and chopped into cubes.
(As a good rule for measurements it is 1 1/2 cups of ingredients..as listed below)
About three tomatoes chopped
Around 5-6 mushrooms chopped
Half an onion..chopped(only half cup of this)
a couple of cloves of garlic..crushed..
A jar of spaghetti sauce with basil
pepper and rock salt to taste
OPTIONS......You can use anything you like as a combination as long as it is about 1 1/2 cups of each ingredient..zucchini, chopped spinach, roast pumpkin and pine nuts, lentils and chick peas....etc etc

Here is my BBQ chicken all chopped ready to go...i got it on special for $4 so it made for a great cheap meal.

Soak your Lasagne sheets in boiling water while you are getting the rest of the ingredients together... usually need about 10 sheets

All my ingredients into the microwave for about 5-6 mins

Then add the jar of sauce and the chopped BBQ chicken... stir through and your ready to layer...

This this the topping and sauce...
1 zip bag of tasty grated cheese
1 tub of sour cream
3/4 600ml jar of cream (save the other 1/4 for the very top)
1 small tub of chunky basil and Parmesan and pine nut dip (optional)
Mix the sour cream and the cream together ..this is your sauce...

Start with sheets on the bottom of your dish ..
then add the chicken mushroom and tomato mixture....
sprinkle with the cheese then the sauce ..you can be sparing with it or thicker if you love cheese.....just as you see in the picture(watching the weight like!!!!)..then add more sheets and continue the process till the whole lot of the sauce and mixture is gone..about four layers...

finish with a layer of sheets and the last of the sauce then use up the last 1/4 jar of cream and pour over..sprinkle with the last of the cheese and you have it ready for the oven....

Oven temperature should be around 180 Celsius for around 20mins..the last 5 -10 minutes turn up to 200Celsius...to allow to brown

VVVWWWLLLAAAHHH!!! here it is....

The size of the dish i use is 9 inches or 225mm square and 2 inches or 50mm deep and as you can see it fills it to the brim...

LOOKS YUMMY YOU THINK????? You should just taste it..hot or cold!!!!!!!....remember to wait till it cools slightly to serve it and it will hold together ...yes ...my neighbor loves this lasagne and seems to know when i am cooking it..so this big slice went next door...

Lucky Scott.....
