"Start at the very beginning a very good place to start..."
The Gold Coast Beach at Togun just by Broadbeach on the way from the Airport at Coolangatta this was our first stop ..to walk on the beach....
The dolphin show at Sea World...those beautiful mammals are so intelligent...the show was fabulous... seven dolphins performed for us for half an hour....
we looked up in the stand above us and saw an industrious little bird had made a nest all snug and comfy above us...don't think anyone was home while the show was on though!!!! just as well we might have been washing bird pooh out of our hair.....
The lazy Polar Bears just slept the whole time we were there and even when we went back later on ..they had moved position ...but slept on...ZZZZZZZZ ..What a life.!!!!
Sesame Street had come to the Gold Coast to holiday ..(mmmm) so they put on a show...great for the kids and Hattie really enjoyed it....
"It is really big Nanna"...Hattie was checking out some of the rides here...we went on most of them.......it was truly beautiful weather too...if you can say a scorching 33 degrees celcius is nice weather...
This little girl was the reason we were in Queensland ..it was her turn to have a holiday with her Nanna and Poppy...she really loved it all....
The pelicans at Sea World are mostly there to be rehabilitated (some cant be so they stay permanently)....you can get up really close at feed time....
This is the Pelicans dinner...which is thrown into the small lake for them to dive for or catch in flight before it gets to the water even....

I would LOVE to swim with dolphins!! Looks like Hattie must have had a blast and a half with you two!!!
