Concrete is Poured....The Slab is down.....

At around 7am this morning the Concrete Truck pulled up at The Block.... out came the big nozzle and the motor whirred...out gushed the grey sludge that would be the floor that we will walk on pretty soon now.... the slab was being poured!!!!





It all took about 3 hours to pour ...the "whirly bird" (dryer) would go over it and smooth it all off ....
WAIT FOR IT.....on Monday the frame will start to go up and should be all done by the end of the week...then the roof trusses go on.... it is all going fast now...

    yep!! It starts to go really fast now, but then after a bit it seems to slow down again with all the little bits that has to be done on the inside, but it's amazing how fast it will all go up.

    looks so inviting...to put a hand print in before it dries....and no basement???darn...I would have come over and rented it out...esp. if it was a walkout one...
