Lucy came to my house for a sleepover last weekend
she is much loved as you can see...
but that is not the end...
she stayed here for a night
and the very next day
the trusty needle was threaded and worked some magic
before she went home again to play
soft pastel mauve was woven through her coat
just a little old and grey
no more holes
just a little worn and frayed
she had a bath
she hung on the line
it wasn't really play
She is home now
loving hands hold her close
i wonder if she will ever .....
come back for a sleepover at Nettie place????
I forgot to show you the new red coat with the black and white spotty trim she had made for her to go home in....
did she like it???
i think the answer was a resounding "YES"
(so much so ..she is coming back for another fitting to have more designer clothes made for her wardrobe.....Lucy belongs to a special little girl called Charlotte who lives not far from me!!!!
