It is finally done!!!
We are very proud now of the outdoor/indoor dining area we have created... and we certainly use it so much more often.
(Pssssttt...see that lovely comfy couch???
"Himself" really loves to lay there pretending to read a book but really having a "poppy nap"...he he don't tell him i told you)
When i look back at the Alfresco we had decided upon when we designed the house i cant believe it is the same area....we didn't have it glassed in to begin with and it was like a wind tunnel ...even with the slightest breeze....so there was no way we could sit out there to dine....even in the summer.
now we have two big stacker doors either side which we can open to get air flow through when it is really hot(not much this summer)
And i looked into the possibility of having the aggregate concrete polished but the cost was too much (in the vicinity of $2000 dollars) so i chose polished concrete tiles instead and for the cost of half that amount ...vahlaaa...what do you think???

What a shame it is so dear to polish concrete already there!!! Still the tiles are very nice and who would have thought! I can image that is a great snoozy area so I don't blame him one bit.
