Old and Dear Friend.....

How long have we known each other???? a very long time...

Yet we don't look all that old

Don't even answer that.....

Allow me to introduce you to Denise...

we went to school together and we were inseparable really we spent the weekends hanging out at her house mostly..listening to the Beatles and any other pop music we had managed to buy on vinyl records...ha ha(do you even know what they are???)

That is Denise on the right...yep she was my bridesmaid fourty for years ago...the dresses were pale pink crimpaline material and the posies where soft white flowers with hand made material violets made by the women in the french prisons...(my other bridesmaid is my other dearest friend Gaylene..(we don't live that far from each other really but our lives seem so busy that we don't get together that often..maybe in retirement we will make the effort?)

And here we are all together Denise and her hubby Bob and me and "himself"..

we have made a promise to keep in touch and shorten that distance between the big island and the little island more often...

Thanks for making the effort Denise and Bob, even though our time together was not long enough...we are definitely going to do it again...
