Today we left very early and motored slowly, very slowly down the very foggy highway to Hobart ....
Why you ask???
Well Tomorrow is a Birthday to celebrate in our family and because of commitments at Church we decided to celebrate a day early...WWWWhhhhhooooo...
A huge dish of Nanna's home made lasagne and a huge chocolate fudge birthday cake travelled with us....
(i didn't even take pics of the cake cutting and the festivities as i was too busy serving warm lasagna and lighting a candle on the cake in the wind ...i know there were some otherphotos taken)
But i think all that paled into oblivion compared to this activity...
a certain little brown ball of fluff decided she liked Kayaking too....
A daddy daughter day on the bay...
man's (or is it girls) best friend on the water together..
(around the wrong way...) this was the push off by mum at the beginning of the paddle on the bay.
This little surfer girl thinks she might try the kayak to practise on instead and her little cousin is making sure she is kitted up..."you need gloves to do that!!!!"
the famous boat sheds the bay is known for.....
(my next post will be a shoot of the sheds..stay tuned ...they are gorgeous)
