Longford Show ..a fabulously fun Rural Show.

Today we trundled off to the Longford Agricultural and Rural Show...we wandered through the dog showing (i forgot to take my "point and shoot" from my bag through there..sorry)
we had a mission ...
behind this sign she could hear and see through the crack a baby lamb and lots of sheep....

once inside her fingers went into the thick beautiful wool...

this gorgeous girl didn't mind a stroke on her soft silky muzzle...

but this guy was her favorite ..from the Cressy High School (so i am guessing he has been around kids a lot)  he adore this rub from Rosie..she didn't want to leave him..He was HUGE

Look at those faces!!!

do they look a bit apprehensive ????

Look why!!!

I was over the other side when the handler lifted this guy up and started to bring him around near me...i moved back very quickly....

No way MUM ..we didn't go on this ...but i bet she would have gotten on that ride given half the chance...lucky they have a height and age restriction...(nana would not have gone on with her i can tell you)

instead we watched the show jumping and the newly purchased windmill race around in the breeze...

there was so much more we saw and did so stay tuned for that in the next post ....

I have to say the next post were her  favorite parts...

we have saved them for a post all on their own.

WE HAD A FUN DAY....

  1. Rosie is getting so tall! I have fond memories of always getting a foil pinwheel at the show - so pretty!
