early Christmas at our place....

Every alternative year we have everyone home for Christmas ...this year it is the year that the other grand parents get to have Christmas with the Grand kids .. but that didn't stop them coming north for and early Christmas with us...

with the excitement meter on dangerously high and it being the very early morning...this is what woke me at around 6.30am...two very anxious little girls climbing into our bed wanting to open the presents under the tree.... first they had to wait while Nanna woke up ....so they demanded to watch the cartoons....poor Poppy "Himself" was the "one in the bed that rolled over and fell out"....he he...!!!!!

so after a breakfast of Nanna's pancakes ...it was down to the real business...opening the presents.....
you can see that she was very excited and thrilled with her pressie...a microphone to do Karaoke and it sure got a work out ..(we even had to put new batteries in before the end of the day!!!)

Books ...this trilogy was what she had on her list... happy ...i think so ???
Now this little ladies present was still in the nest and can't be picked up till three weeks time ...some canaries to put in her aviary...he snow dome with the little pigs in it broke just after she got it so she was not really a happy little vegemite ...she loved her magician stick trick thingy though...
books and bags and lip gloss and rock collections...mmmm did i spoil them???? i might have ...but hey it is Christmas and i start buying things in the sales at the start of the year anyway.... and so i have quite a haul by the end of the year at bargain prices too ...

here is her mummy and her "Popster" putting the rocking horse together....

and this was the special order from this little girl...a rocking horse...she did want a white one ...but she was so excited when she saw that it neighed and shook its tale when you pressed its ear..that the fact it was brown didn't really matter ...

then there was fish and chips by the Perth River in the gorgeous sunshine and a paddle with the wild (tame) ducks...

and home while Bee and i made a Pavlova and then Bee decorated it with the berries we picked that very morning the morning at the Longford Berry Farm...of course we ate it all for dinner after our BBQ...
OH what fun it was to have and early Christmas with this mob...
