when we were in Melbourne just Thursday and friday...we happened upon a sports clothing and footwear outlet having a huge sale...
real leather sports/ casual wear shoes..."Himself'" fell in love with these...
and when he saw how much they were well he was over the moon...
the regular price was around the $200 mark and they were only $10....
he was so excited he graded a pair then started looking around...and found a nice suede pair of leather dress shoes in a gorgeous tan...for $30
under the arm they went ...by this time i had found some kids sport shoes and had a talk to Chelsea on the mobile for the girls sizes...
then it was off to the counter to pay...yeah!!! so excited about our purchase..
we told the girl we didnt want the boxes as we had to fit them in our bag to fly home to Tassie....
so when "Himself" got home ...he couldn't wait to lace them up and get them on....
Now go back to the first pic and see why he was nearly crying...

don't worry we have it in hand..
we think that Pete ...who we stayed with in Melbourne...will be able to go and buy the other two right feet and post them to us...for anther $10 dollars it will be worth it and :himself will have two pairs of great leather casuals to last him the rest of his days...we hope... that's if they haven't discovered them and thrown them out!!!!!...
all i can do is laugh..... but i am sure it will work out ....if it doesn't ...does anyone know a man with only one left leg...we have two great shoes!!!!!
