Friday we had to pick a couple of buckets of apricots off our little tree...this year has been a great year for stone fruits....the tree is a double graft which means one side is supposed come ripe before the other and they are two different varieties...but because of the unusually warm weather ...they both decided to ripen at once...so they had to be picked and stored down stairs in the cool pantry to await Monday when i could deal with then for the storage... i had some help to pick them...and eat the ripest juiciest ones.... (aside from the birds that had their share as well).....
