it is through this window and into my loungeroom that the little white eye tried to visit us this afternoon
it was very stunned for quite a while and i thought maybe it had broken its neck as it was paralysed for at least five minutes... i wrapped it in a cloth and kept it quiet and just waited to be rewarded with a quiet little bird who when released from the cloth just sat on the garden wall for a few minutes then flew off straight into the neighbors window to be rescued again by Kelvin...he then went to show our little neighbors Hayden and Jye (whose window it flew into the second time)...it flew straight from his hand into their lounge room...it finally flew back out of the open front door and into a tree in their garden to recover.
It is a native Australian White Eye ...it is looking a bit "out of it" here after his encounter with our loungeroom window...
Wow, you got some fantastic shots guys. What a pretty little bird.Don't you just love where we live!
