Make me a TV Star....Show Room Makeover

OK remember that showroom make over ...i was telling you that i was doing it for Painting Inspirations on Invermay Road...well these are the final shots... on Tuesday the WIN TV camera crew came in to do shoot a commercial to run for a TV advertisement ...needless to say "yours truly" was and will be in the Ad...
now i was going to wait to get a copy of the footage of the Ad to put on the blog for you but i will have to wait a couple of days more so i thought i would wet your appetite with the stills and tell you all about the makeover...i just wish i had been smart enough to do the before and afters...dang....

Of course as the name suggests it was for Haymes Paints mainly but it was advertising the Paint store as well and what services they have to offer home renovators etc...

See that stand with the wall paper and floor coverings...all interchangeable ...man power done by Phil but concept by "yours truly"

another shot which includes one of the four wall paper and paint ideas....

the front window...this space was being under utilized until i presented the concept of Wall paper strips (of course they have been papered onto thin boards ...great way of having a look at the patterns instead of in a book... (see the charcoal shag pile carpet...i worked out a deal with Kings Carpets Choice and they now have a stand in the paint shop as well plus they have also made up the interchangeable base of each of the four stands with carpets and vinyls samples ..you have to go look!!!

The "Piece De Resistance"...Vahlaa...Four canvases to totally fill this illuminated space in an arty type of way....We (that is Phil the sore manager and me) are going to change the colour concept regularly so we can present different colour ideas( i cant imagine what it is like for some people who have no idea at all about what goes with what as far as colourways????)...But worry no more ....with Haymes paints visuals in the form of my canvas idea...you can now match up the colours to the visuals ..... loved by Phil so much that we laid the canvases out and i set them up with the visulas and graphics and the olours to use ....and this is the result.... he did the hands on painting himself....and Vahlaa..... a canvas creation to hang on the wall ...a painting ....a real masterpiece to admire to view to appreciate...???? Not just a visual giving you ideas from the Haymes Paint range ...
Did you know that Haymes Paints are totally Australian and biodegradable plus environment friendly....????
There is a great satisfaction seeing your ideas and concepts come to fruition...

OH i love these combinations of colour.... warm orangey reds and earthy greens with chocolates that almost have an aroma and taste... you just want to breath them in or eat them..... wrap yourself up in them.

crisp and clean...cries out kitchen and dinning filled with sunny warm greens, crisp, clean greys and that cafe Au Latte feeling...mmmm hot chocolate coming up...make mine nice and frothy please

more warmth and freshness together... face to the sun kind of warmth, fresh and clean like sea air.... warm sand to push your your feet through...

Cool, clean, crisp sun drenched river stones.... dark, lazy water running under mossy banks...toes swirling in the cool water as it trickles over your toes
OOOWWWW gotta love what you do and I DO... now you have to wait for me to show you the Ad...if you watch WIN TV and see the Ad before i get it on here ...tell me please ...but i am assured i will have a times schedule and a copy real soon...so watch this space.....

  2. Oh annette - with each canvas I was thinking 'I like this one' and then the next one would come up and I was thinking 'no this is my favourite', but they are ALL great!!!! Beautiful colours.

  4. Your ideas look amazing! Wish I could shop there!
I'm usually a Bunnings girl when it comes to paint, but I'm sure your new shop look and the TV ad will do wonders for business! (Love your new look bloglist too. Aren't all the little photos just adorable! So loving blogging!)
