Chickens!!!!!

Today Hattie and I went looking for those little fluffy chickens that you get at Easter Time at Chickenfeed ...Hattie had a project in mind and notheing could change her off it..we have a store her in Australia that mostly sells cheap things for around $2 called Chickenfeed)...but alas alack they only sell them at Easter.... so we bought all this stuff and decided to make our own chickens..WHY...you might well ask...Well i will tell you......Hattie has been holidaying north since last Thursday and her little sister Rowan has been in hospital because she ingested a foreign body into her lung ..it has taken a bit longer to get it out than first thought because she developed pneumonia as well.....so Hattie decided to make her a basket of chickens and eggs to cheer her up...Oh but she cant give her the chickens because they have stuck on eyes and Rowan might swallow them and have to go back to hospital!!!!

So we started with this $2 pack

This what we ended up with...... scary i know...but Hattie was happy with the outcome

Of course Nanna didn't have any craft glue so Nanna had to do the glueing with super glue (I almost stuck the fluffy balls to my fingers a couple of times....that is why there are only two chickens...till we get the craft glue tomorrow)

and what do chickens lay???? Eggs of course.....shining magic white eggs!!!!! (white dove chocolate wrapped in foil a la Hattie)

All arranged in a basket ready to take home in a couple of days.... what a kind thoughtful big sister you are Hattie....
