so have a little look before you book to go and have some awesome Indian food..don't forget to say that you have been sent by me...you will get some special treatment...well maybe!!!
These are the ultra modern tables tops that Sacha and i decided to design to save the laundering of table clothes....the graphics are in vinyl and are under the glass so they will never get rubbed off destroyed or look shabby or get soiled... Go DOC Signs..that's their plug in...
And here is the BONE OF CONTENTIONS ...these are the screens that Hari ordered off the EBay...yep they are more Chinese than Indian(i have put the best side to the front ...the back has sampans and china men in those Chinese hats)...but they are only temporary (so he tells me)until the real carved wooden ones come from the mainland next month...so if you are in the market for a Chinese Influence screen go see Hari!!!!.... i am sure you will get one cheap...
The two front areas just inside the doors...great for a business function or a family dinner....seats 8 people... on either side..
The Coffee Bar (and that is Hari there behind the bar)and of course it is Licenced as well as BYO(non alcholic bubbly for those who dont drink)... the front on the bar is Laminated perspex with hidden lights under the counter top...(do you like the pendant lights???)
Looking back up the Restaurant ...see the lounge area there where you can relax in those comfy couches and enjoy a hot chocolate or coffee and a samosa...yum!!!!

AND the window...i showed you this before ...Privatizes the interior whilst still letting in the light...

Am i glad it is done...well yes i am...but i am excited for Hari and his staff...and i loved seeing it all come together even though there were heaps of hitches for him from some of the "dodgy"tradesmen ...then the Council and the Health departmentbeing very particular(well i guess it will be the most up-to-date modern Indian restaurant in town???)...the restaurant should have been operating at least two months now....
OK now that i have done this restaurant i think i like just the houses best but it was really good being able to see it all come together...i don't always see that with the house colour consults....

Hi Annette the place looks great, I am really looking forward to go and have a night out as we LOVE indian. Your a very clever lady!
ReplyDeleteVERY cool!!! Will have to go and try it sometime.
ReplyDeleteLoving your finished work! The table tops are a brilliant idea!(We went to an African restaurant for Valentine's Day, and while the food was AMAZING the tablecloths were soooo tacky!) The pendant lights add a nice glow to the counter. Maybe you should ring up some decorating customers and ask to see the final outcome of your ideas? Surely you can add the before and after shots to your portfolio? Wendy xxx
