Sand cakes....Icecream cake...YUM

I travelled south again last week...this time on the Redline Coaches...two and half hours and a knitted "Beanie" later i was dumped on the street outside a dark and closed bus depot .....standing in the drizzling rain waiting and waiting for Chelsea to pick up up...i started walking to the corner after what i thought was probably a good 10 mins...then there she was...just as worried as me...as the bus depot had changed since she remembered and that was the reason for the confusion....
OH i love spending time with these little munchkins...
this is WHY...
Darby, Bethan and Hattie's sports days...well done girls lots of seconds and thirds and red and green ribbons.... and a first for Hattie...they never stood a chance..she can run like the wind....

Here's she is making me patty cakes from sand that appeared in the shell sandpit ...

then she made me a pan full of something nice????

LOOK at him peeking over the edge.....all Nibbles wanted to do was get in that sand pit and dig himself a nice burrow...

he nearly got squashed under Bethan's foot...woops look out Nibbles!!!!

then it was time to "bury" this little girls legs....love those sandy hands...(oh is mum going to have fun with that sand all through the house....NOT)

What fun having two gorgeous sisters to help bury her legs.........YEAH...

Then it was FRIDAY...PARTY DAY...WHOSE BIRTHDAY IS IT????
why HATTIE'S OF COURSE...Five little girls and lots of fun when a little girl turns five....

this was a present...but mummy had to read some of it...

Who did sink the boat.... not the pig ...not the donkey...not the ....not the....not the....
Well who did...
i am not telling ...(yep!... i do know)

there always has to be someone to sample the food first....mmm huuuummm!!!

The Ice Cream Birthday Cake... Chocolate Tim Tams crushed in the base...and cherry ripe cut up finely in the top...OOOOOHHHH so yummy!!!!

Wasn't it Grandma???????

Not really sure about the cherry ripe top though Nanna... i just like the bottom part.

But it was the best Party... a tea party with my new tea set and lemonade on the deck in the garden...pin the cup on the saucer ... a treasure hunt for goodies ..pass the parcel...then dress ups ....OH such fun...
then i did some of it again when my sisters got home..
.
I love Parties.......
