Hot air ballooning over the Gold Coast...this pair passed over the top of my brothers house at about 7am one morning.... i have this on my "bucket list"
Then this amazing flying machine swooped over us on our trip up to the Glass House Mountains..... clear blue sky... perfect flying conditions.....
these two little critters are Green Tree Frogs..they are about four inches and can live in captivity for up to 16 years...they are very docile and can often be found in the tropical areas chasing bugs and insects on house windows...... and are known to come indoors and dwell with humans.....

and this is my darling little great nephew..... how cute are those little ears with the sun shining through them....
and this is his little sister...look at those little plaits ..she asked me to do them for her.... i got about five weaves and then had to put the band in....
A gecko who lives in my sister in law's kitchen... he is almost opaque but the flash made him look darker than he is...
and there always has to be one of these where ever you go..... this one was bigger than i was happy to be near ....about as big as a 50 cent piece.......shame you can't see his web..... it was a masterpiece....
We had a wonderful holiday in Queensland and i can recommend you check out the Queensland tourist information on the web should you want to go....i am sure your interests are different to mine.... but a great place to holiday ..especially when you have rellies there and the accommodation is free...
Yep we are saving to go again....sometime soon...
Time to come back to the real world housework, cooking and cleaning etc....
