Kangaroo Point... Brisbane...Queensland ...Part Five

This is the view from the lookout at the top of the cliff walk path and tourist vantage point at Kangaroo Point in Brisbane.... looking back towards the city at the high rise buildings and along the Brisbane River... a very muddy river .... a waterway that is very much used by the people of Brisbane to get to work which also reduces the road traffic congestion ....... very scenic indeed.... tourists can hop on and off these river taxis to visit tourist attractions....

See ....there is a river taxi ferrying passengers on the Brisbane waterway....very comfortable and quite a fast way to get around this city built on the river....
Then turn around and just across the busy road you will see this ....it is a very beautiful granite building ..,The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Temple.... Sparkling pale grey granite ......sparkling in the sun....welcoming you through tastefully designed wrought iron gates.... open for you to come in and visit...... Magnificent peaceful gardens ...beautifully manicured for you walk around with seats in shaded sections.... strategically placed for you sit, enjoy the views and the fragrant gardens beauty and reflect on that beauty you are enjoying....

A sparkling recycling fountain waterfall at the end of this cobbled granite path.... the soft sounds of the water trickling over the granite is so calming.....

the entrance way into the Temple.... The House of The Lord....

The angel Moroni trumpeting your arrival....

There he stands a top of the Temple for all to see....

the clean crisp elegant lines of this magnificent structure....

The Temple is a very peaceful place to visit...and we did ....
if you want to know more about this beautiful Temple visit http://www.lds.org/ and type in Temple....
