Fence on Fire????...No just kidding!!!!

Thursday morning the sun is finally shining ...the washing machine is whirring, straining with the weeks washing that needs to be done after three days of solid rain and the other two overcast non- drying days....
Wow that sun sure is warming up the moisture on the fence... it looks like it is on fire doesn't it????

Don't you love the old Hill Hoist Clothes Line... a journey into the past every time i step up to hang clothes on the line...i feel like i should be hanging out Yakka Overalls and Bonds cotton singlets and Y front undies...ha ha!!! (some of you wont even know what they are!!!)

Because i mentioned the Good Old Days i have put this B&W pic that "himself" took of me hanging out the washing ... still had the polar fleece on from my walk...of course the washing was on while i did that...wouldn't have been able to do that in the G.O.D's as you had to stand over the Hoover old twin tub and watch it....thank goodness for automation and modern times..

Love that my neighbor has a Hill Hoist Clothes Line too.....twins!!!!!!

While i am up at the clothes line i can see my little garden growing...this is what i saw today.....OH my poor frozen broccoli...but we will see if it defrosts...i think it will...Yummo...

Bring on the Summer i say........
