Raspberry Cashew Cake...Saturday Lunch

A luncheon date and an invitation to bring one of those famous Nettie sweet treats...only this time i cheated and didnt bring my own recipe but instead tried out a cake from a recipe that came from one of the workmates of "Himself"...this is how it turned out...
Very moist ...sort of like a white mud cake consistency...you have to try this one... you will love it...

Yes 6 eggs... those little ones are fresh from my neighbor ...we exchange food scraps for eggs...great deal for me...

Yes frozen raspberries from my freezer...

9 inch pan so it is a really large cake and will serve at least 12 hungry people with a generous slice

Can you smell that delicious freshly cooked raspberry scent????
I can!!!!

all iced...ready for lunch to go....

(Instead of the two tablespoons or liquer i just used 1teaspoon of raspberry essence)
and this is the recipe...it said Hazelnuts but we couldn't get them...so i used cashews ...might try pecans next time ...yes there will be a next time...Himself says he will make it next time..mmmmm...we'll see!!!!

we did bring home just under half and we left the same with Scott and Kristina as well....
