Oh that view!!!!!!

If you had this view from your kitchen window would it warrant a new double glazed window with picture frame views....?????

Yes that is Mount Wellington... and yes the vote is YES for the new window!!!!

It sure makes a difference when a new window goes in....... and this is the new one that Chels and Dave had put in while i was there last week... before the space had two rows of louver windows and it was very hot in the summer when the westerly sun streamed through and cold in the winter when the wind off the mountain whistled in...

as with mostly all the old house i have lived in anyway..nothing is level...hence the measuring and leveling here...

in it went.....

out i came ...

sanding and scraping on the window space...

then buzzing off the metal window frame itself..... those filings were so pretty with the sun on them glittering like Christmas tinsel...
