These two gorgeous girls are my two sisters , we have the same father but different mothers...(i actually have three sisters..) Let me introduce you to these two girls...Niennie and Jules....I cant believe this is the first time that we have been together for years...funny how families get on with their own lives when parents divorce, die and remarry then have other families.. these two very special sisters were very much a part of my late teenage years when they were young ..then "growing up" happened and i married and they did and our lives moved in different circles....moved to the mainland etc
Yesterday we found ourselves together again gathered around our fathers bed in the nursing home where he is living and being cared for now..(of course the trusty point and shoot came out of my bag to capture the moment which i will treasure.)
I love these two sisters
This is our Darling Dad..who we all love to bits. He is very sick and sadly he wont be with us much longer... we are so grateful that you are our dad...we are proud to be your daughters.
A Fathers Day Tribute to my DAD
Beautiful Annette. xxxx
ReplyDeleteTears in my eyes... this is so lovely.
ReplyDeleteYou should keep in touch. Of course what you once shared - the love, the cumplicity - won't go away as it was built over solid values and with the best souls but you should - from time to time - revisit the feeling and each other so you can fuel on this blessed light we're witnessing.
Thank you for sharing, Nettie.
(We celebrate Father's Day on March 19th on Saint Joseph Day...)
What a lovely father's day tribute, that he can have his girls reunited around him.
