Merry Christmas to my faithful Blog Friends...i know ...i know...Christmas is gone and it is the New Year by the time i get this posted....
Where have i been you ask....
how long do you want this post be?????
Lets just say that i am looking forward to the NEW YEAR 2012...
you really want to know do you???
i started a new job.....YEP at my age!!!!!back at work!!!!!Yes and it love it.....back in the pharmacy for about 20 hours ...one week in and disaster struck... i caught a strain of the Hong Kong flu off a couple of Asian tourists fresh off the plane from Hong Kong..yep a week off work at a brand new job ...
then i am back at work one day and i sneeze and just about drop to the floor in agony...they race me to the local doctor...a torn a cartilage between my rib cage and lung...PAIN like i have never had before...another week off...Are you thinking what i began to think???? no i love the job and i think they like me too...they haven't told me to leave.
so just as well i was pretty organised and had my Christmas shopping all done!!!
ANYWAY...
all is well now and i am backkkkkkk in the blogging world...Yeah!!!!!
still a bit sore and a few twinges now and again when i overdo it (like i do most of the time)
Our Christmas was amazing with both the girls home and all my grandchildren...how did we fit in my new house????
we set the garage up like a dormitory for the girls...Christmas lights and beds all set up ...they loved it and it worked out well as the parents had the bedrooms....
check out the Santa sack pressies that had been opened at 5.30am...we were all up early Christmas morning ..were you?????
Hattie got a puppet theatre and gave us and early performance...
a trick camera the squirts water... love those trick rubbish things dont you????
the tree was almost dwarfed by the pressie under it...the girls couldn't wait to open them and even passed up Nanna's famous pancakes for breakfast because they had already feasted on the bounty of junk food and choccies in their stockings....
no second guessing what Poppy got from his girls for Christmas...whhh Hooo the lawn edges and the paths are going to be so neat and clean....
we all had a great Christmas day and the food was amazing....we didn't end up going for our picnic like planned because it threatened rain but that didnt matter because we had everyone together here and it was great ...we even went and got Auntie Floss who is 93 from the Nursing Home ..she loved being with the noisy kids for a few hours....
OK enough for now....more soon...
Happy New Year friends...
