Today we were the guests of these two gorgeous young people at their wedding reception at Clarendon House.... they were married last month in Melbourne and wanted to share their happiness with all their family and friends here in Tassie.... aaaawwwww thanks you two....
A great chance to get all "frocked" up again and get more mileage out of a gorgeous wedding dress.....
this is where the very relaxed and informal BBQ afternoon reception was ..(did i already tell you that???)
of course i am one of those people who likes to go for a wander on my own, with my camera and old this historical property is amazing....
lakes filled with water lilies and stables filled with restored carriages....
but back to the reason we were there.....
Dales mum was making a speech and Dale was trying not to look embarrassed....Rach likes what is being said...!!!! (that's because it is true)
I got to be next to the QUEEN, .... Nawww ...... well is sure looked like the queen..hat and all...very important people were invited you know!!!!!
this was the amazing wedding cake..and boy was it YUMMY...a chocolate mud cake sssoooooo moist (I had two pieces)
i didn't put any words of wisdom in these receptacles...but i saw a lot of pieces of paper being written on....i bet they enjoy reading them.
OHHHHH...true love united in marriage, so much in love, two people starting life together ....always makes me feel good...(have i been reading too many romance novels lately???)
we had a lovely afternoon..thanks Dale and Rachael for a beautiful day.... but mostly...Congratulations on your marriage.
ANYWAY...
don't forget that Tuesday is Valentine's Day...
Romance is in the air..breathe it in everyone..a little bit of LOVE goes a LONG way...
