NO Rain today ...Hooray!!!!

There was no rain today so we decided to get out of this house of sickness and go for a drive (somewhere were we couldn't infect anyone) So we went to this beautiful valley... New Norfolk to be exact....

the little girls ran on ahead with the dogs ..that is after we after we had our picnic (we did toasted sandwiches again..they were a hit last time...  we found this lovely park with swings and play equipment and a walking track for the dogs)...so this is us walking on that track...

Nanna was taking pics of all the lovely gifts of nature along the way reminding herself how good it was to see the sun after a week and bit of cold and rain...everyone agreed it was so nice to be be out in the fresh air and sunshine....

very happy little girls and a very happy dog...aahhh free to run..... and run they did...

how gorgeous are these reeds reflected in the pond....even though i think they maybe of the pest variety????

there they are walking and talking.....the track was a circuit and took us about half and hour maybe more....

And that track ran along this river most of the time...but as you can see from some of the reflection pics it slowed down to create beautiful ponds

 

 

Yes we(especially Nanna who was getting grumpy and had cabin fever) had a great afternoon and we are sure glad to get out after being in Quarantine for the whole week...
