Moments (or Ooowww-ments) in Melbourne

I took some of these photos to remind me of the beauty, the technology and splash of old and new that compliment each other in Melbourne...
i think they are pretty much self explanatory ...so sit back and enjoy....

to be able to fly like a bird....

Reflections and handsome men..."Himself" no less....aaaawwww!

if only the reflection in the mirror could talk????
What a tale it could tell!!!

reaching !!!! Escaping!!!!

" I may be a whole lot older than you son but i am still on track"!!!!!

yellow and pink????? is it her finest dress???

Nature matching her lace and texture with that of architecture....

Across the culture barrier...into appreciation...

totally modern architecture amid the old...just filling the space nicely.

the shopping...

and more shopping....

my sort of shopping...

his sort of shopping....

the food....aaaahhhh the food...

the friends to share it with...

Darling Zade to enjoy it with....

the play on words...more food...

for my grand kids...yes Nanna did shop here for you i promise...

the culture...

the quirky.... or is it Versace????

every alley art....

But this is not one of the experiences we wanted...

The lesson learned....

Do not park in a clearway.... even when you think your doctor is going to run on time... they never do!!!!

YEP....we had the hire car towed away...cost $300 to get it back..then to add insult to injury...we were give this ticket...an extra $141 we had to pay..."not happy Jan"

But i have saved my favorite place and pic till the last...might not be the perfect photograph of the year but the place is the most heavenly place you could visit....and i did ....peace perfect peace...

  2. No price is too high to pay for those brief moments of peace and harmony (when you're in time for your appointement, trusting the doctor to be on time and take away your concerns) ahahahah

Not a good experience and funny (or not) as it is the only time I had my car towed it was with a rented car and I had just jumped to the store to buy something... but police was, also, JUST passing by and they JUST took the rental car away ;).

Melbourne is so beautiful and I'm glad to learn that you did spend some time appreciating it and took pictures to share with us.

    Thank you!

  3. arghhh! clear ways are a pain. I nearly got a ticket not so long ago. Luckily i had traffic driving by honking their horns and frantically waving me on! looks like it saved me a lot of money! Your pictures of Melbourne are great, such a fun city to live in! glad to were able to visit the temple too- thats definitely the best place here!
