whataweekend.......

weird and wacky...a tractor on a pole!!!! all on the road to Devonport.

The richest pastures and wispy clouds swathing the mountains...

Our New Stake Presidency ..President Scott Prebble, Pres Jared Horsman on the left and Pres Lionel Walters on the right....This weekend we had a church conference .in Devonport. We were blessed to have Elder David Baxter of the 70 visit us from The Australia Area Predidency..... our church leaders give their time and talents to help the work of the Lord...this weekend we had a change of leadership in our Stake (our stake is smallest in the world and is made up of 4 wards and one branch). We are all excited to assist these men in the Lords work.

Sunday afternoon in the church car park we all ohh..ed and arrr...ed over Terry's realization..no longer a dream.....

Jack Prebble might be dreaming though....taking me for a spin...we never left the car park at the chapel...unlike Kelvin and Stake president Prebble..some people get all the luck!!!

Saturday night was Noodle Box (so yummy)and hot chocolates and Yep....you guessed where we had our hot chocolate..

Saturday afternoon was 'my' time while Kelvin attended meetings and interviews...watching baby pink galas antics as they found their feet and wings at the Devonport bluff...

this little fella thought he could walk up a slippery sloped bar...didn't give up till he did it.

Green velvet seaweed on a rocky beach

flat water worn rocks to sit on.... and read the book i was loaned called"MY Story" by David Pelzer...the fourth book about a boy seriously abused by his mother(and his whole family really)...not a light read i can tell you....gets inside your head and heart...

my view along the beach.

The Spirit of Tasmania leaving the dock on Saturday night...all lit up..an amazing sight.

loading up to leave again on sunday morning at 9am..there are two ferries passing each other on the Devonport run over the summer....great for tourism.
so you see that the weekend was action packed with heaps to do.... What do you think of the camera shots...i am learning how to use Kelvins new baby..Yeah!!!!

Lucky Kelvin and President P! Some people have all the luck - I guess Terry would let anyone in it yesterday after being so happy to be released! ;)
