I thought Iwould make her a nice blue and white polar fleece tie rug (blue is her favorite colour) to keep her warm while she was resting...she loves it...she is waiting here for her kiss to say thank you....we love you very much Auntie Floss...

Auntie "Fairy" Floss
This is Our Auntie Floss...she is Kelvin's father's older sister....Hattie calls her Auntie Fairy Floss.. She is 90 years old and just this year she moved into Glenara Lakes retirement apartments with her husband Geoff. They lived in their own cottage in another retirement village before that and were totally self reliant. Sadly Uncle Geoff has contracted stomach cancer and was worried about leaving Auntie Floss on her own so he moved both of them to Glenara Lakes early this year..... Since moving there Auntie Floss has become a little forgetful and visiting her for an hour is like replaying a 10minute part of your favorite movie over and over again....she has also become unstable on her feet and has had a few nasty falls so she now has a special movement mat on her bed which electronically calls a nurse when she tries to move off her bed or chair...she is supposed to press her call button for assistance when she wants to move even to the bathroom which is part of her little apartment(room really).(but she forgets most of the time) so this device is a back up ensuring her safety... she lays on her bed or sits in her chair most of the day with her blue dressing gown over her legs....sooooo

I thought Iwould make her a nice blue and white polar fleece tie rug (blue is her favorite colour) to keep her warm while she was resting...she loves it...she is waiting here for her kiss to say thank you....we love you very much Auntie Floss...
