It's all up to ME!!!!

No pictures for you to look at today ( i have been busy doing some canvas's (4) that i will use as a mini dispaly centre for Haymes paints for the the paint shop on Invermay Road called Paint Plus.... they have asked me to help them with their new show room...(plus they are going to have an advert on the TV depicting the spaces i have designed so i have to have them done by next week...under the pump)i have presented them with a concept and action plan and they love everything i have presented....they now have it in hand so watch this space for the pics.. I get to do some hands on stuff too old clothes out the back of the paint shop to do the canvas's... self gratification...you bet ya...But today in the middle of helping a client from Bridport choose carpet for her beautiful new house and checking out the canvas's.... Kelvins mum had a fall at the nursing home in George Town and came through in the ambulance to LGH...they thought she had broken her hip but it was a small fracture of her pelvis which they have advised immobilization via bed rest and drugs for for the pain so it will heal itself....Poor Nan..she was in pain when i went up to see her in the A&E as Kelvins sister had come through with her so we got to have a nice visit and Nan was her happy self even in pain..... they sent her back home to the nursing home stocked up on drugs so i hope you feel better soon Nan......
SO seeing as i didnt post any pics i thought i would give you a literary treat instead....... i came across this poem in a magazine while i was away in Brisbane and seeing as it was in a coffee shop in a huge shopping centre where we stopped to have a hot chocolate and there were three magazines the same ...i figured they wouldnt miss the page out of one... you know how you cough as you are tearing out the page hoping they won't hear it tearing...yep that was me(dont tell me you havent done it too)...LOL
sooo I thought i would share it with you.... Thought provoking look at life...i can relate to it...wish i had written it!!!! It is called .......

It's all up to ME

I get discouraged now and then when there are clouds of grey
Until i think about the things that happened yesterday.
I do not mean the day before or of those months ago,
but in all the yesterdays in which i had the chance to grow.
I think of opportunities that i allowed to die,
and those i took advantage of before they passed me by.
And i remember that the past presented quite a plight,
But somehow i endured it and the future seems all right.
Now i remind myself that i am capable and free,
and my success and happiness are really up to ME.

It was penned by a James J. Metclafe

What do you reckon...a motto for the day!!!!!
