Our garden has the yummiest golden zucchini's so we grated some of those along with the carrot to put in the sausage rolls we made ...we made about six dozen..they were "the party" on Saturday as Mummy and Daddy,Darby and Bethan and baby Rowan were coming up from Hobart to stay for the long weekend and we were having a friend from America come to stay as well.

Kitchen Helper
Fridays cooking class was Sausage rolls...made from scratch... with puff pastry and all...Hattie loves to help me cook and we always manage to make something in the kitchen when she visits...she can be the best egg cracker but really does not like getting the white on her fingers and Nanna has to rescue the bits of egg shell when she bangs the egg too hard.

Do you ever read the blog Warm Pie, Happy Home? (There's a link on my blog.) I just love it for her philosophy on life, which is pretty much, the family who cooks together, stays together!
ReplyDeleteIn ways, she is like the American version of you - big on family, the home, church, interior design, cooking, caring, roadtrips, nostalgia, except, maybe her personality is a tad more over the top!!
Anyway, I think you would enjoy reading her posts!
