42 YEARS ON........

Yep today is our 42nd Wedding Anniversary... i jumped out of bed early to go off and teach Seminary (morning Scripture Study for the youth of our Church) and totally forgot to wish "Himself" Happy Anniversary and it wasn't until i was visiting my Dad in the Nursing home later in the morning and had to write the date on his menu that i realized it was our Anniversary... so Happy Anniversary Honey...to the best "Himself" in the whole world....


He he!!! Check out the glasses on the minister will you... he was a stand in as the minister who was supposed to marry us was ill on our Wedding Day...



The Bridal Party... L to R.. "Himself's" brother the famous Munich Olympic Cyclist Danny Clark, my bestest friend Gaylene, "Himself" of course and the blushing bride...ME...Mick who was the President of the Scottsdale Football club who were playing in the grand Final against South Launceston at York Park (now Aurora Stadium) he had his little earpiece in all connected up to a small transistor radio in his top pocket to actually hear them win the final just after the ceremony ...and his partner was my Victorian friend Denise...

The girls dresses were pale pink crimpaline with the pale pink ruffled lace on the bottom of the sleeves and hem...the dresses were what was called "babydoll" style... their bouquets had artificial violets which where handmade by french women prisoners... rather special i know...

Check out the furniture and fittings all you retro collectors ...i bet you would love to get your hands on some of that stuff now....

Fourty two years and still i love that man...he frustrates the heck out of me most of the time ...but i reckon by our 50th i might have him trained....

Of course i am perfect ...what are you talking about??????

Yeah ...right i did forget didn't I...... Perhaps i will pretend it is tomorrow and i will start today again!!!!!!
