there was Hats, Beattie the dog and me...we dragged out the two stools and the esky was just the right size for the table... we had prawn crackers and chocolate biscuits and turkey and cheese sandwiches..... what did we have for tea you ask...not lemonade...but Ginger beer....yeah!!!
Of course Hats set the table and was in charge of the tea pot....
she had to sample the "tea" first...check out the finger positions...(mind you we had just planted some lettuces and done some work in the veggie garden so i spied some dirt still there under her nails...oh well it will come out in the bath tonight)
She was waiting for the sandwiches.....
see i told you it was real Ginger Beer...
the prawn crackers were the delicacy for Beattie the dog...she loves them.
everything has to be just in the right place on the table.....
my cup was just filled to the right level.....
now her cup is filled....
perhaps another cup Nanna.....????

it was all packed away in this little cane picnic case and forgotten in Nanna's garage until a little girl came back to stay over...but it has gone home now ...so if you were thinking of coming for a tea party with us ...sorry ...but i am sure it will be used again soon at Hattie" place...with three sisters to share the fun....(even the ginger beer went home in the picnic basket too....)
I seriously love this teaset! Red and white dots have become my etsy shop's new signature colour, sparked from the red and white dots in the Alice in Wonderland quilt you made. I'm slowly but surely building my stock for a shop relaunch...
