The earth is moving!!!!!

We have movement at Lot 47 Opal Place at last.......

The excavator has moved a few tons of dirt getting ready for the slab to go down in early January.....only to discover these huge boulders....

so now the lie of the land will be a bit different to what we thought ...but it is all good and i think i will like it better.... there will be a very small one block high wall along this eastern side of the house....

and that two rock wall that was going out off the alfresco area will no longer be there...there will be a very gentle slope to the fence instead....

and the builder will order in a truck to take our rocks away and he will use them on another site and take that off our bill...i think they call that "balancing out"

mmmm nice sky there.. there was a storm coming in fast.....i was bending down to see the level of the size of that huge rock and fell flat on my back ... i was laughing my head off and i clicked this shot..see my shoe there in the bottom of the shot...

eeeewwww it is getting scary now!!!!! and we will be in by April 2011...Party time for Kelvins birthday i reckon

oh and we have our actual postal address now but i will tell it to you closer to us having a letter box....
