Brisbane...so far Rain

Sarah had to get up at 5.30 am this morning because she walks Zen (the red heeler)before she goes to work...i was getting up with her to see where she takes him for his walk seeing as that is the reason we came up here).... sooooo i forgot to adjust my clock on my mobile didnt i and bounded out of bed at 4.30am only to be asked "what the h...l i was getting up so early for and to go back to bed!!!" so after a false start we got the routine down pat and Sarah went off to work kelvin and i set off to brave the Brisbane roads and find our way to the DFO at the airport.... and all that awesome shopping......at super discount prices...well mainly window shopping.... i find that more fun than parting with my money....

just 5 minutes from Sarah is this wonderful sight and place... The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint Temple... We will be going there this week a few times...a wonderful way to renew your spirituality and relationship with your God.... So peaceful a place ...you would never guess you are in this......

the Brisbane City...sky scrapers towering above beautiful historic sandstone buildings...such a mix of architecture ...yet they blend so well....

a city built around a river.... so naturally you have bridges...of all different shapes and sizes..this is just one...

We were remarking how hard it was to find your way around Brisbane as i am sure it was not planned out to be the size city it is today...hence the traffic jams like this one we waited in for a few minutes ....as the traffic bottlenecks at points where the roads are not big enough to take the volume of traffic.

so this is what they do...yep...dig big tunnels under the roads and down you go under....
