Experiencing the Queensland Culture and Food!!!!!

It may not have been Australia Zoo but this little Miss Rosie didn't care at all...
In fact it was right there on the Gold Coast at Carrara Markets...
this really lovely little corner of the wildlife world is right there for you to see and experience and you don't have to drive all that way up the coast to hold a snake...
she rally loved this gentle black headed python name "Coby"and didn't want to give him back after the photo shoot....

but it was then time to meet "Cosmo"..an Australian Lizard...he loved Rosie and wanted to cuddle up around her neck...he even headed for the clip in her hair ...i think he might have thought it looked edible???...

she walked around with him for ages until she finally had to give him back..even the handler said Rosie has an affinity with creatures...(Hey... is that you in the background...Uncle Andrew???..thanks for showing us where the snakes and lizards where..we would have missed them)

the display and show was very informative so check the Cararra Markets out..not all stalls are full of junk(well some are good stuff) clothes, fruit and veggies and gimmicky and quirky things ...

but this is what Miss Rosie really loved...the Pony Ride...

this is Princess and Rosie got to have a long ride on her and even fed her the last three pieces of her apple...

We sure are having fun here in Queensland...

Check out the FOOD MUM...hehe...
Naaaahhhh...i didn't eat all these chips and chicken nuggets by myself..Poppy helped me....

but i did eat all this by myself...Yum!!!

I helped Uncle Ian eat some of his birthday cake too...(that's Nanna's brother you know..we stayed at his house)
the mango slushy at Movie world was the best....( idid share that icecream with "Popster")

but my best ever favorite was the Sushi Shack and sushi bars everywhere in Queensland ...so we found one every lunch time for lunch ...i love the salmon ones ..i can eat two whole ones by myself..even "Popster" likes sushi now...I think Nanna and i converted him...

And this was my Mothers day breakfast...we all went out for pancakes, maple syrup and ice cream...yum!!! well most of us did...some had the full cooked breakfast....but thats mine you see in the picture...

this was the best Cupcake shop ever...i chose this one...

i promise that i did get some more food...Indian on Emerald Lakes...out for posh dinner...

this was it....
well not really .....get out of town Nanna.....
just one more post to go...do you want to go to Queensland yet?????
Stay tuned...
