We could not believe this gorgeous HUGE white tiger being fed cartons of milk...he LOVES milk...check out how big he is and yet he is so gentle with his handler...he was born white in captivity and has been at the Dream World Park for years....check out those huge teeth..(i reckon someone should buy him an electric toothbrush mummy!!!)
i know that there has to be a whole lot of trust between the handler and the tiger for this to take place for them to have a cuddle like that...one swipe with that almighty big paw and the tiger could take the handlers head off....
yet he just lays there like a regular house cat, soaking up the sun....
you can just see very faint ginger stripes that didn't go any darker...hence the White Tiger...so cute ..but from a distance....
MY FAVORITE PART....
Here we are proof...PROOF that it was warm enough to swim ...even in MAY...
and when she was in ...it was SO HARD to get her to come out...mind you she wasn't the only one in there ...
BODY SURFING BEACH BABE...ME!!!!!
DUMPED!!!!!!
Nanna did manage to encourage me out to turn me into a mermaid for a few minutes...a sand tail that is..but i soon broke out of that and was away.... back to the sea.... where all beautiful little mermaids live....
(with the sea washing my legs and sparkling like diamonds...the Surfers Paradise high rise in the distance, the surf patrol flag flapping in the gentle warm breeze....i didn't want to go either....
{Footnote from Nanna.....But at least we have "Rosie's Queensland Holiday" captured in photos and enclosed in a journal for her to look at often and show everyone who will look and listen (i am sure she will get sick of it soon) and remember what fun we had in Queensland...}
Farewell Queensland ...i know i will come again one day.....love Rosie xxxx
What a good Nanna! I must commit that journal idea to memory because that is important and so easily overlooked in all the excitement
ReplyDeleteA great holiday Nettie.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the journal will help Rosie retain the memories.
Chris

ReplyDeleteThe white tiger is HUGE and gorgeous! So cuddly. The sparkling water is very pretty! xx
ReplyDeleteSo glad you went for the journal. I was already pinning for ideas to keep those treasured moments so Rosie can revisit them when she wants... though I'm pretty sure she'll have them in her memory for years.
ReplyDeleteLove her ruffled bottom bathing part and the sparkle water WOW!
She'll never get sick of being happy and revisit happy moments.
You're the Best Nanna!!!!
